Grief doesn't follow a timeline.

And you don't have to grieve "correctly." Grief therapy for the loss that's changed everything - without judgment, without a deadline.

There is no right way to grieve. And there is no point at which you are supposed to be "over it." Whatever you're carrying - and however long you've been carrying it - there's room for it here.

What grief looks like

Grief is not just the death of someone you loved - though it's certainly that. It can also be the end of a relationship, the loss of a job or identity, a diagnosis that changed your life, a dream you had to let go, or a version of yourself that didn't survive something hard.

Grief is not linear. The stages model is a map, not a prescription - and plenty of people never follow it. You might feel fine for weeks and then be knocked flat by a song. You might skip anger entirely, or cycle through it for years. You might feel relief alongside sorrow, and then feel guilty for that too.

Grief can also be cumulative. Sometimes what you're carrying isn't just one loss but many - layered over time, each one leaving something behind that never quite got space to be processed.

How we'll work together

With over 8 years of dedicated grief therapy experience, I know that what grieving people need most is not a technique - it's a space. Somewhere to bring the loss without anyone flinching. Without timelines or expectations. Without being told that at least you had good years together, or that you should be feeling better by now.

In our sessions, I'll meet you wherever you are. We'll honor what was lost - whatever form that loss takes. We'll sit with the hard parts without rushing through them. And when you're ready, we'll work on what living forward looks like - not moving on, but moving with.

There is no deadline. We move at your pace.

My approach

I use Grief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with over 8 years of experience specifically in grief work. My approach is warm, unhurried, and deeply client-centered. I don't treat grief as a problem to be solved - I treat it as something to be witnessed and supported.
